Oct. 14 Weekend Stars

Here are some standout individual performances at both the high school and college level from over the weekend.

Isaac Boston, Springfield Central: This senior touched the ball four times in the Golden Eagles' 60-0 win over Holyoke and scored three touchdowns with 259 all-purpose yards.

Matt Crowley and Matt Duchemin, St. John's Prep: Crowley completed 11-of-19 passes for 302 yards and four touchdowns in his team's 34-32 loss to Catholic Memorial. Duchemin had over 200 all-purpose yards with five receptions for 172 yards and two touchdowns. He also played every snap at cornerback.

Chris Cusolito, Melrose: This running back put up 173 yards and three touchdowns on eight carries behind one of the best offensive lines in the area in a 35-6 win over Woburn.

Connor Degenhardt, Holy Cross: The Westford native had his best game of the season in the Crusaders' 47-31 win over Brown, as he completed 20-of-33 passes for 315 yards and four touchdowns.

Eamonn Dennis, St. John's (Shrewsbury): This senior Michigan commit is becoming a regular here and for good reason. In the Pioneers' 31-21 win over Shrewsbury, he rushed for touchdowns of 6 and 53 yards that were two of the most spectacular plays of the weekend.

Blake Dennison, Old Colony: In his team's 40-8 win over Cape Cod Tech, Dennison rushed for 165 yards and five touchdowns on 15 carries.

Greg Desrosiers, Belmont Hill: In his team's 28-21 win over BB&N, this senior had over 100 all-purpose yards, including 88 on the ground and the game-winning, 25-yard touchdown with less than a minute remaining.

Dylan DeWolfe, Old Rochester: In the Bulldogs' 27-0 win over Somerset where they allowed just 21 yards of total offense, this senior linebacker led the way with 16 tackles, seven for loss, and a sack.

Devaun Ford, Framingham State: Another freshman who is becoming a regular in this spot, the former Mashpee standout rushed for 139 yards and touchdowns of 5 and 39 on 19 carries in his team's 56-7 win over Fitchburg State.

Jack Ford and Clayton Marengi, Lynnfield: In a 34-24 win over Amesbury, Marengi completed 7-of-9 passes for 157 yards and four touchdowns. Ford caught for of those balls for 112 yards and three touchdowns.

Ben Green and Ryan Russell, West Springfield: In the Terriers' 49-20 win over Pittsfield, Russell threw for over 300 yards and five touchdowns. Green had four of those scoring receptions with over 200 yards receiving.

Justin Greene, Milton Academy: In the Mustangs' 35-7 win over Thayer, this senior made two interceptions, including a pick-six.

Jordan Hill, Harvard: In the Crimson's 35-10 win over Cornell, this junior linebacker made 10 tackles, including 2.5 for loss, to help earn him Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week honors.

Liam Hines, North Quincy: In his team's 28-0 win over Pembroke, this junior running back/free safety rushed for 107 yards and two touchdowns and made a 51-yard pick-six.

Andrew Jamiel, Stonehill: In his team's 52-0 win over Franklin Pierce, this Yarmouth native caught 11 passes for 139 yards and a touchdown, and became just the eighth player in Northeast-10 history with over 3,000 career receiving yards.

Andrew Landry, Newton North: In his team's 28-7 win over Weymouth, this senior quarterback completed 26-of-31 passes for 315 yards and four touchdowns.

Joe Llanos, Revere: In the Patriots' 32-30 win over Lynn English, Llanos had 270 all-purpose yards with three touchdowns and an 80-yard kickoff return to help improve their record to 5-0.

Bobby Maimaron, Williams: In yet another standout performance for the junior quarterback from Duxbury, Maimaron completed 11-of-19 passes for 191 yards, five touchdowns, and an interception. He also rushed for 80 yards in his team's 35-10 win over Hamilton.

Ryan Martin, Case: This two-way senior lineman and captain registered two sacks, forced and recovered a fumble, and made an interception in his team's 34-0 win over Seekonk  Friday.

Duncan Moreland, Beverly: This senior University of New Hampshire commit rushed for 165 yards and three touchdowns on 19 carries and had an interception on defense in the Panthers' 28-0 win over Gloucester.

James Murphy, Canton: In yet another stellar defensive performance for the Bulldogs in their 35-0 shutout of Milford, this linebacker had nine tackles, two for loss, and a pass deflection.

Jack Nagy, Amherst: This senior two-way lineman had a dominant night for the Hurricanes in their 40-0 win over Putnam, including a 17-yard interception return for a touchdown.

Pat O'Neill and Mark Pawlina, Dennis-Yarmouth: O'Neill, a sophomore linebacker, had 14 tackles and a sack in the Dolphins' 34-6 win over Falmouth. Pawlina, a quarterback, rushed for 185 yards and five touchdowns on 13 carries.

JC Petrongolo, Catholic Memorial: This freshman threw for 267 yards and four touchdowns in the Knights' 34-32 win over St. John's Prep Saturday.

Rory Paul, Uxbridge: In his team's 39-14 win over a previously-unbeaten Blackstone-Millville squad, Paul rushed for 134 yards and two touchdowns.

Joe Rivers, Bishop Fenwick: This senior Holy Cross commit had double-digit tackles, including three sacks, in the Crusaders' 24-7 loss to BC High.

Dante Vasquez, Rockland: In a 35-0 win over Medford, this senior had 12 carries for 144 yards and touchdowns of 9, 44, 4, and 58 yards, all in the first half.

Ahmik Watterson, Brockton: In the Boxers' 41-21 win over Xaverian Friday night, this senior running back rushed for 215 yards and three touchdowns on 13 carries.

James Wilder, Medfield: In a 28-14 win over Hopkinton, this junior had three tackles, five pass breakups, and made four receptions for 112 yards and two touchdowns.
